受宝丽来Polaroid中国独家代理乐玩公社LoOneCommune委托,墨匠在成都远洋太古里打造宝丽来快闪店,为品牌体验制定出契合线下具体空间的设计策略,同时塑造了适用于品牌未来快闪店的应用体系。项目场地只有24平方米,墨匠通过框架与体块、色彩与光线的运用,巧妙地强化内部气场,捕捉外部空间,创造新的尺度。宝丽来相机的核心体验是即时成像的等待过程,店面设计通过材料手法表达一种过渡的、未完成的工业状态,抽象的时间被视觉化,从而实现“创造美的过程”,完成品牌视觉传达,激活空间社交属性。
inkmason recently completed a Polaroid pop-up store in Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li, Chengdu, which was commissioned by LoOneCommune, the exclusive agent of Polaroid in China. A design strategy was developed to heighten the brand experience specifically for this unique site, while also providing a template that may be applied to the brand’s pop-up stores of the future. The project space, being only 24 square meters, encouraged a thoughtful and imaginative approach. Through the use of scaffolding frames and concrete blocks, bold color and natural light, inkmason subtly creates a strong internal presence, draws attention from the exterior, and achieves a an approachable, human scale to the store. The core experience of the Polaroid camera is the waiting time inherent to the process of instant imaging. The store design expresses a transitional and unfinished industrial state through its use of materials, effectively acting as a metaphor for abstracted time as a “process of creating beauty”, personifying the brand while activating the social space in and around it.
