To comfort always, to relieve often, and to save sometimes
“To comfort always, to relieve often, and to save sometimes” is New Hope Foundation’s goal – a foster home that provides personal care and seeks medical treatment for sick babies and those with surgically correctable deformities. New Hope is run by two compassionate Christians, Dr. Joyce Hill, and her husband, Mr. Robin. They began taking children into their home since February 2000 in a village near Beijing and they are now able to extend their support to four other locations around China – Luoyang, Zhengzhou, Jiaozou, and Xinyang.

We found our way to their Hope Healing Home, only an hour drive distance from our office and we brought with us some supplies that these lovely children might appreciate. After a tour and introduction to the facilities, Mr. Robin allowed us to play with their children.
As soon as we stepped in the room, children would rush to our feet and demand for hugs with their smiles. These loving children welcomed us with genuine enthusiasm and we felt immediate instinct to reciprocate with warmth and care.
Although they possessed medical conditions that hampered adoption chances compared to other wise normal children, their smiles, nevertheless, radiated the same warm sunshine and if not more.
“Playing with these lovely children opened my mind making me realize how a single visit to the orphanage can mean the world to them. It made me understand that no amount of kindness is wasted. I hope that they will find their way to a loving and caring home very soon.” – Alex
Playing with Annie, Herakles, Joe, Mary, Moses, Simeon, and many others was a great pleasure to us, we hope that they enjoyed as much as we did.
