The design and build project of the Nestlé Retail Collaboration Centre (NRCC) has been extremely challenging, for it includes a scaled mock-up of a convenient Store, a small Corner Shop and a Hyper Market, as well as a 25 seats 3D Theatre and a 30 seats Multi-media Conference Room, all in the space of a 297sqm unit adjacent to the corporate’s Greater China Headquarter in Beijing, China.
Inkmason has been working with Nestlé for many years and understands thoroughly the corporate’s core values. In NRCC, the success factors are not only to showcase the core values of this world’s largest food manufacturer, but also, to demonstrate its forward thinking and innovative ideas in retail and consumer behavior of China market.
NRCC defines itself as a collaboration facility serving different Nestle Business Units. One of the key elements of their corporate strategy is to strengthen their Retail Collaboration among the business units.
Inkmason International took inspiration from Nestle products. By expressing the fluidity of liquid drinks such as water, milk and coffee, the interior transferred itself into a compact and flexible collaborative environment that caters all the functions in a limited space. Designed by Inkmason’s graphic team, the logo and graphics wall at the entrance capture the visitor’s attention with a welcoming wow factor, guiding the visitors into different functional spaces with the curvilinear wall motif extended from the lobby.
The project has been proven to be very successful. Since it’s opening, the visiting schedule has always been fully booked almost everyday by Nestlé’s partners and guests.
