On March 4th 2015, a ceremony was held at the future office of Beijing Youngs Event Marketing Group to mark the commencement of construction. The senior Management and staff representatives of Youngs, as well as the design and construction team of Inkmason attended the event, to witness this milestone and to give our best wishes for the success of the construction.
The event started by agreeting from Youngs President, Ben Xiao. He briefly introduced the project to his staffs and invited everyone to join Kris Zhou, Inkmason’s Chief Designer, to tour around the whole facility. Everyone was enthusiastic to learn from Kris how their future office would look like.
At 11:00am the auspicious hour, Inkmason’s Architect Tony Leung led everyone to start the ceremony. Offerings were prepared and everyone took turns to give blessings to the project. After that, Ben joined Inkmason’s director Kin for a ground breaking ritual to symbolize the commencement of construction work.
Since summer 2014, Inkmason has been working with Youngs Group for their new office in Shunyi. The 2,000 sqm facility is located in the Shine City (中粮祥云小镇) with retail commercials, restaurants, supermarket,cinema and many other lifestyle amenities, providing Youngs’ staffs the convenience of urban living while enjoying the spacious open view and fresher air quality of the Beijing outskirt. In the future, the new Youngs office will be accessible by elevators from the basement parking, groundfloor lobby, and from the podium shopping level.
The New office will house all members of the management staffs. Together with Sales & Marketing, Digital Marketing, Creative Department, and other supporting departments, the new office is catered for Youngs current 150+ employees plus additional growth in the future 5 years forecast.

Essentially, this becomes the foundation of the design concept “Journey of life”.The layout is divided into 4 zones occupied by the 4 major business units. The 4 zones are well connected by themed amenities space like collaboration spaces, pantries, breakout areas, and meeting rooms. The central hub is the main reception space with a large multi-function room openable to combine with the reception lobby for events or exhibitions.
